Chills/increased sensitivity to cold is one of the characteristic side effects of Parnate. It might lessen with time as your body adjusts to the drug. Have you been checking your blood pressure? A drop in blood pressure is another characteristic side effect, and I think the two might be linked (many hypotensive drugs cause chills as a side effect). I'm not sure why it happens, maybe the drop in blood pressure means there's less blood flowing to the extremities - hence extremities are more easily chilled and send more 'I'm chilly' signals to the brain?
