I think that they are two different classes of medications: Zyprexa is an antipsychotic while Remeron is a tricyclic antidepressant. So it might be apples and oranges in trying to compare them.

I'm taking 30mg Remeron for major depression, and it's working very well. I've gained some weight and it's hard to wake up in the mornings, but my mood has improved greatly.
