Lamictal is leaving the lights on.

Posted by Bonnie_CA on August 26, 2007, at 1:48:46

I can't describe it any other way than the lights are always on. It's not like my mind races like it used to, but when I try to sleep it's like my brain just doesn't shut off. I haven't slept well in a long time, and it's started to wear on me. If i sleep for many hours I can get enough rest, but I haven't had quality sleep. I have also had chattering teeth. It looks like I'm shivering, but I'm not cold, and I'm not shaking all over.

I'm on 200 mg. Do you think a lower dose would fix this? I'm going to try to see my pdoc soon. I have an appt for Oct, but that's too far away. I think this needs to be addressed now.

In addition I also take 10 mg of Lexapro and .25 mg of xanax as needed.
