It's absolute nonsense as we can now see.Sagan's comment is absolutely correct. Note he said combinations. Just consider how many combinations of three can be made from a set of ten. Then add in combinations of two and four and....do the same for the networks in our brain, with thousands of connections, and billions on billions of cells.
