INSOMNIA AND LUNESTA

Posted by Amandafran on August 18, 2007, at 0:07:25

Ok. As I sit here and type this it is 1 am in the morning and I have had LUnesta in my system since about 11 forty five. I take 3 mg of lunesta and have been for a long time...does it maybe not want to work anymore? I was just diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was put on lithium and valium..altogether I take Lithium, Geodon, Lamictal, Prozac, Valium, and Clonopin..and Lunesta...but it doesnt seem to be helping me sleep anymore. My T gave me breathing techniques to use when i get anxious and when I cannot sleep but they arent working...and I have a headache because it is so late...and I have already taken a Klonopin along with my lunesta and NOTHING IS HELPING. I have to be up at 8fifteen to drive to a funeral and Im NOT going to be in a good mood if I cannot fall asleep soon. Plus I left my valium at my sisters house and if she forgets to bring it to me in the morning and I cannot take it in time for the funeral ...Im going to be really hard to live with. Sorry I am venting but I really dont know what to do about my sleep. Any ideas... Usually it knocks me out within like 20 mins of working. Right now I can taste that nasty taste that it leaves in your mouth so I know it is disolving...but everytime I lie down to go to sleep my eyes fly opoen. AHHHH. it is making me nuts. If there are any sleep experts or someone who takes lunesta that can give me some help I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
AF
