No I havn't tried tianeptine, can't get a hold of it here in Canada.

Yeah, the TCA's are a mixed bag, they really helped depression, but I got all the mentioned cardiac effects.

I guess there are a number of mechanisms for cardiac side effects. Direct conduction effects, norepinephrine reuptake inhibition, anticholinergic acitivity, etc.
