Focus on your situation and response to meds....

Two things come to mind, Phillippa.

1.) she probably doesn't question most of what her doctor is prescribing and increases her meds without a thought as I used to do when I was a new, obedient patient. Now I question most things, but I always try to at least give everything a chance for my own peace of mind and belief that you have toat least try and do what is recommended.

2.) Everyone's response to medications is different based on the biological events that have triggered the condition so that is why the expression mmv (mileage may vary) is true.

You can never compare your situation with another's, although it is only natural. I know that what I respond to may or may not be like anyone elses, but it is usually not anywhere near the same, since my depression is not typical and your anxiety is not either. Plus you have the thyroid effect which complicates things, making for a more resistant type of anxiety.

Have you increased your Luvox dose to 100 yet?...I hope you are able to do that to see for yourself what will happen. It's still a low dose, since my drug book says 300 is the max. It says to split the dose once you get to 100.
