Okay I spoke to my PDOC. She wants to do some research on Seroquel causing anxiety. She is going to call me back. We discussed raising the dose of Seroquel from 300 mg to 400 mg but she said it depends on my patience, and also what she discovers with her research into this odd reaction.
She said the other option is to return to 10 mg of Zyprexa for a month or so and then go to 5 mg in hopes of avoiding muscle rigidity. She is going to call me back with her verdict. I'm torn between the two choices. On the one hand I was really hoping that Seroquel was going to be the answer, I love how it makes me sleep but oversleeping has become an issue. You know how you want a new med to be the magic elixir? But then I love how Zyprexa works for me and it may be best to return to the tried and true. We'll see later on today what the final consensus will be. Thanks, as always, for listening.
