I'm glad you understand. Thanks for that. And remember, I'm not judgeing- I'm hardly in a position to judge, and know it! I've personally done some pretty dumb things with drugs in the past, like amateur experimenting and not paying attention to warnings, and I am very, very lucky to not have had an accident. So of course your report caught my eye. Just thinking safety. Though not so sure your experiment was a great idea, I can understand your curiosity about the combination, and admit it was interesting to read about your experience, by the way. I never knew grapefruit juice could do so much-amazing. I don't usually drink grapefruit juice, but your report has convinced me to pay attention next time I see a warning on a med bottle that says "avoid grapefruit juice", and to believe it. So, your post was actually quite educational-despite it making me worry a bit. But seriously, that was enough of "interesting" to last for quite awhile-not fun to worry about people. And I know you are smart enough to imagine, when you think about it, that even though the xanax experiment turned out alright in the end, another med might do something much crazier and far more dangerous when combined with grapefruit juice. Or, even the xanax itself might do something different if one of your other meds changes-drug interactions can be complex and surprising, I understand. Now you don't want to be a human chemistry lab experiment, I am sure. Why risk being the one to discover such things?So we are cool?
