I use a CPAP machine at night myself, and it took some getting used to. I don't know what kind of mask you use, over mouth and nose, over nose, or what is called nasal pillows (the little things that go into your nostrils and least restrictive). I alternate between the mask over the nose and the nasal pillows. I have been using the CPAP for a little over a year now and had more energy until I started getting more depressed. Now I don't have more energy due to the depression. Also, there was a time after six months that I had to have it cranked up a notch as that is an important factor to--is it at the right pressure to intervene with stopping breathing at night?

To not use the CPAP over time is dangerous as one ultimately suffers heart impairment and can, when the heart damage progress, die in ones sleep. I am not sure why you are using Adderall. I tried Provigil to help with keeping me awake during the day (becuase of the depression), and the Provigil had the opposite effect. I can only think that you have not yet gotten used to the CPAP yet.
