That is the major difference between brand and generic. The actives remain the same, and often made by the brand manufacure. In any case lorazepam is lorazepam is lorazepam no matter who made it.coatings/fillers/binders effect how much drug is taken up by the system. You cannot just take the raw active compound and expect to absorb it properly. There is a lot of science in delivering and absorbing the drug into the body. This is where the differences between generic and brand play out, if any.
