That's just it we don't know and years from now we won't even know what drug caused what medical problem since we take so many different ones,in combinations unheard of, it would be impossible to pinpoint the culprit since it could be any of them.

Forget trying to sue anybody, you would have no case because you could never prove which drug has
given you diabetes or liver damage. Side effect profiles change so frequently for any given med.

I think of this all the time because although I need to feel better today, how am I impacting my future health status? That is why I am such a stickler about taking the smallest dose and the least number of medications. I have refused to take more than 3 meds together and even that made me nervous.

Right now I am comfortable being on Emsam and have refused my pdoc's suggestion to increase Seroquel. I told him I don't need to get cataracts or diabetes down the road. I prefer to not be in a perfect mental state, because for one, I don't think the state exists and I fear the long term uncertainty of these meds for which there are no long term studies.

We will see the effects, I believe, in our lifetime from the years of this experimentation.
