i take 300 mg lamictal daily, and at times i take temazapam for sleep difficulties. i haven't noticed any exageration of my insomnia, but for me insomnia was a problem from puberty.
i also take ativan as needed for anxiety attacks. but i do make a concerted effort not to take the narcotic drugs unless i am in dire need.
as sometimes, the lamictal doesn't curb the symptoms the doctor wants it to treat and when i feel an outburst coming or the rage irrationaly building, i will take an ativan to take the edge off my attitude and give my brain a break....
i'm diagnosed as psychotic with tendencies toward rage. is anybody else taking lamictal for this?
if so, is it working for you?
