I'm not sure rosa, but could the euphoria be partly due to the relief of getting rid of the akathisia? Dopamine very likely plays a part in this, but I wouldn't personally rely on Abilify to give this effect over the long term. If it is affecting your dopamine receptors to such an extent to cause an EPS how can you be comfortable there will be no long term damage if you were to take it for years?
