Hey blueberry,

I had a very toxic case of garden variety anxiety disorder(s) - GAD, panic, ruminations, agoraphobia - just plain nasty stuff. For three years, I was on Klonopin routinely and consistently. Despite having my anxiety well-controlled using K, something was "missing" in my life quality and functioning. I went on Lexapro a year and a half ago and recently, switched to generic Celexa due to pesky insurance coverage issues. It's actually worked out well, so I guess at this point, I'll remain on the cheap pill.

During the end of the time I was on Klonopin monotherapy, I changed to Xanax XR due to the "thought" that K was being depressive for me. I noticed no difference depressionwise on XR and it didn't handle my anxiety symptoms as well. I played around with it but was just not satisfied with the results. That being said, we are all so different.

I still use K on occassion but have found I'm one of the lucky folks that a SSRI actually works for my anxiety and depression --- for the most part.

That's me in a "nutshell", probably more info than you needed (Smile)

I hope you work it out successfully for yourself.

Glydin
