I'm not sure if you know what a SPECT scan is but A Spect scan gives us info about blood flow to tissues of the body. It is diagnostic tool which can detect tumour, infection ,and other patholgies. Analyzing the amount of blood flow to an organ can help to see how the particular organ in questioning is functioning.

Not sure about this Salt and Peppr pattern, but if something is diffused throughout both hemisphers, it basically means that both sides of your brain have 'accepted' this molecule, ion, etc etc

TL asymettry is common to all of us in certain ways.
You Left Temoral lobe is very much focused on language function (Broca's area, Wernickes area). Damage (Lesions, esp stroke) to this area can produce what is called aphasia...speah difficulties. Your Right TL, is very much geared towards fine articulation, visuo spatial phenomena etc. Asymettry just means that their is not even distribution of something, either anatomical or morphological in nature, to both lobes. Like I said, this is common to all of us in some ways.

GM is just a collection of nerve cell bodies. Your Thalamus is part of what is called the diencephalon. also included are epithalumus, hypotholamus etc. Grey matter is a site of information processing.

Phase images showe image contrast in anatomical structures
AF is just where the activation is taking place more or less.
Your Parietal love is behind your Frontal love and contains the somatosensory map- basically the different parts of your body which have specific amounts of receptors for them.
Prefrontal, just means ReALLY frontal!
