What dose are you on? Increasing might help because the proportion of norepinephrine, which is stimulating, to serotonin, which may be sedating, would increase. So you'd have a little more of the stimulating hormone in comparison to before. The serotonin would increase too, but probably at a lower rate than the norepinephrin. Effexor is funny like that. At really low levels, it works more like an SSRI, with no or very low noepinephrine. At very high levels, dopamine might even come into play. That's stimulating and motivating. Does this make sense to you?
