This is the last post i will make on
this, because i think it is now getting
out of topic; but (doh!) all UTIs are
a result of E-coli, but this bug comes
in different stripes -- most of it benign
and even essential to the body;

The "anti-social" one; the one that kills
people by causing hemolytic uremia (e.g.
the spinach outbreak recently) is

E. coli O157:H7

And if you have that (if i had that) i think
i'd be dead; also antibiotics do not kill
e-coli bacteria (not sure about that--
something about changing their DNA structure
