> Squiggles, Cipro is a quinolone antibiotic, one of the absolute worst drugs for anyone with psychological problems as it affects the CNS horribly.......I took a quinolone for a UTI and it almost made me crazy with anxiety and depression, insomnia the whole nine yards. Even people without psychological problems have had horrible anxiety from the quinolones. I will never ever take another one!

Thanks valene; i hope the infection does not
return now that the 7-day treatment is over;
if it does, i am going to another doctor; i asked this dr. if there was an interaction, and ** said
no -- but indirectly, yes i would say. Good thing the lithium protected me but it was a very rough ride.

I appreciate your feedback.
