> Has/does anyone else take Topamax alone or in conjunction with other meds for BP? When I increased my dose from 50mg to 100mg the change was great. My weepiness was gone. My ranting and raving mood swings were gone and my general ability to deal with life and it's associated challenges was so much better.
> For the most part that is still true but the weepiness is back after only about a month at this dose. That was the reason I initially about threw in the towel on this med. I can't just burst into tears for no reason. At home it's one thing...they just roll their eyes at me but I still have to work for a living.
> Has anyone had success with increasing the dose to a point where it actually sticks? I'm so darn tired all the time now that I truly can't imagine what upping the dose much more would do to me. Also do take Lamictal 50mg. That did have some beneficial mood stabilizing effect but can't increase the dosage due to negative side effects. I do take 60mg of Ritalin LA also for my ADHD and while that does help my focus, it doesn't touch the tiredness.
> Anyone been in the same boat?

I would continue increasing the dosage of Topomax. Perhaps you can move up by 25mg at a time. I would not stop until you hit 200mg.

What are the side effects of Lamictal that you have difficulties with?
