Declan do you like ice and snow mounds of snow to shovel all the time. And ice on the sidewalks and roads? I was from the North East most of my life and inside all the time unless you want to freeze. Boots, gloves, scarfs, sand on the roads for traction or trapped in your house til the road is plowed? That's why so many people move here toward the South. Yes we may wear a coat but average temp in the 50's in winter. Of course you can have hot and cold spells too. All our neighbors are either from the North or Florida. I'll take Australia any day.
