Tianeptine with effexor or paxil, might reverse some of the serotonin uptake inbition of either drug. This might leave you with a more ballanced ratio of serotonin to norepinephrine.

OHOH this could be achieved by lowering paxil and or adding reboxetine.

I think that many of the neuroprotective effects of tianeptine depend on the accelleration of serotonin uptake, so I don't know if you'd attain them while taking it with a SSRI.

I've heard of a few people combining the two but I havn't heard of much striking effect.

You might be able to fine tune things with just paxil and reboxetine, but you may have already tried that.

Its too bad you've turned completely off alternatives. Industry can work to discredit some of these products which have potential.

Omega-3 can probably acurately boast about twice the brain health beneiftis as tianeptine. High EPA preparations have some documented antidepressant effect.
