See that is not my case..I was not deppesed at all..and the meds ( Effexor) was prescribed for ADHD b/c Concerta didn't help. My problem with ADHD ( even though I've alwasys had it since I was a kid..and achieved my goals) began really with my married life that even though is very happy I sometimes felt "Overwhelmed" with 2 kids one with ADHD..which for me was a challenge, work, housework etc.. So Effexor was the magic pill that made me less anxious and more organized.But after a year on it ( no other meds) I started gaining weight and it won't go away no matter what I do.Did this really mess up my metabolism??
