> Hello everyone! I've taken a number of drugs over the years to try to solve my social anxiety issues. First I tried Paxil, which caused me to gain about 50 pounds. Zoloft also caused weight gain for me, but not as much as Paxil. I took Effexor for a short amount of time, but don't recall if it affected my weight. None of these drugs has a theuraputic effect on me.

I worked hard to get where I am and am worried about blowing up again like what Paxil did to me. When I was on EMSAM, I was also in Ireland eating more and unhealthy compared to my healthy diet back home and I actually lost a few pounds.

but I'm a little afraid it's going to make me gain weight. If it's like EMSAM, I should be okay. From what I've mostly read about Parnate is it doesn't cause weight gain in most people, some loss in a few, gain in a few, unlike Nardil, which seems to make everyone gain weight.

You posted about what you mostly read about parnate,....so why then are you afraid of weight gain?

What you have read is dead on,although i have personaly seen a few people gain weight on parnate,by far the general person, including myself will have little problems with weight gain,in fact might even have a loss of appetitie as i do,however it doesent feel well or natural for me,feels almost maniac that i never think about eating.

Ive seen weight gain on every single drug, there are always those few exceptions, ive seen bad acne mentioned etc etc, however usualy a baisc guideline will be correct, and what you have read is in my view very accurate, you should not have much of a appetite on it.
