EPS is an umbrella term for a whole lot of problems like muscle stiffness and contractions ("dystonia"), involuntary movements, etc. They were first noticed with the neuroleptics, like Thorazine. However, antidepressants, including SSRIs, seem to cause them in some people also--there have even been reports of SSRIs being linked to a few cases of TD (tardive dyskinesia, a usually permanent movement disorder).

I don't have any involuntary movements, but I do have a sense of physical restlessness - I feel "fidgety". Might this be a subtle form of akathisia instead? I have a doctor friend who treats everything I say with scepticism, as in "nah - that's impossible, you can only get akathisia from anti-psychotics".
Thing is, Zoloft and Wellbutrin have helped me so much, I do not want to quit them.
