If I have, or am prone to, depression I might want to use a different benzodiazepine. Clonazepam can be so depressogenic, it certainly is for me. (Not for everyone.)

Also I've never seen any studies that compared Nardil vs. other MAOIs for atypical depression although I can't say I've really looked either. So, one might work better than the other, Nardil isn't necessarily better in this regard.

That's my understanding anyway!
