My doc reckoned that Strattera is superior to desipramine. Strattera had a slight positive effect for me but also left me feeling sad. John Ratey has an interesting six year old paper on his site that reviews ADHD meds and he is very positive about desipramine in small doses.I'd be inetersted in trying it at sometime. When I was in Europe I tried Adrafinil. I've also tried alternative supplements (picamilon, ginko, magnesium, zinc, fish oil, hydergine, huperzine, vipocitine, piracetam, vitamins, 5-HTP, SAMe, Galantamine, acetyl-l-carnitine ...) The fish oil is the only oner I have stuck with.
Coaching and exercise help me as much as medication.
