Hi Scott,
I do have SOME of the akithisia symptoms...but then again, I had them before I ever took abilify or knew the word existed.
I guess my doc and I will have to figure out which this is or both,
I've been on abilify for over a month now. I was taking, for many months very high doses of neurtontin for anxiety. My new doc wanted to see such high doses lowered. Perhaps that is where it begins and ends. He knows that I need to lose weight. He suggested that neurontin at high doses can make one gain.
I guess we need to find a substitute for neurontin. I metabolize it in a very strange way. I start low, then need more and more and then can take it back to a lower dose. He thinks that I am kind of "deadening my neuro-receptors" or something like that.

I don't know if this is as likely to resolve on its own. It might not.
