Questions about cymbalta

I recently started cymbalta, in addition to Wellbutrin and Lamictal. I am curious as to what time of day others take it. The doctor said take it at night,but it seems to keep me awake so I have switched to days--anyone with similiar reaction. Also, what dose seems to be the most effective. And, if it has helped anyone's pain,how long does it take that to kick in? Thanks. Appreciate any and all info. about this med
