Naltrexone Compounding

Posted by aixuan on March 23, 2006, at 12:28:00

I understand that a 50mg Naltrexone tablet is 16% (27.2 mg) Naltrexone and 84% Filler. Is this across the board regarding international brand names? I'm having LDN compounded by a pharmicist in Belgium. Apparently no one pharmicist in the country compounds any better than another. But I know that they have a history of this traditional practice and are not like most commercial pharmacies in the USA, where I am from. Further, with such a low % of Naltrexone in a 50mg tab it seems that crushing tabs is less exacting than using a powder base such as Dr.Skip in Florida. And, yes, I am aware of fast release caps.
