I can only give one person's empirical findings. I'm not sure exactly what to make of the categorizing of anxiety disorders as I have considered myself a suffer of a garden variety Anxiety Disorder that covered just about all the aspects and findings of the adjectives used in front of "anxiety" to describe the disorders.

Lexapro had worked well for me..... Really well as I was monotherapy Klonopin for three years prior to starting Lexapro. I can't recall the last dose of K I took but it has been rare since the max benefits of Lexapro kicked in for me.
