Like a mood stablizer to a benzo,the two for me arent comparable.
What i meant though is xyrem when not taken for a week or two,provides for me a very smooth anti-anxiety.pro social effect,u feel like hey i can actual live with this.
This seems to last a week.Then it seems to actualy become DIRTY,its onset no longer comes on smooth,it either comes on with the right dose,or it does nothing.
The feeling isnt always guraneted pleaseant any more,intense still,but in a bad mood this could be bad,worsen moods make one very emotionaly.Then unlike the begining the come down is strong,u feel u need a benzo QUICK,anxiety appears,and depression after.One thing i can say opposed to the addiction theory is in these cases my use of it becomes infreqeuent again slowly till im where its been over a week or two once more.
I rember the big problem i had was when it works,u make plans,ur gonna do this and that,and if it stops ur left with a lot of people who ur not just gonna tell ur situation,so unfortunatly u loose a friend as they understandgly take it personal,ive lost many possable girlfriends and plain friends alike.
I try to wear a band around my wrist when i feel good to remind my self to slow down and dont go tackling the world,im still deep in the woods.
But this is just my exper on xyrem,when it works its still a lil dangerous cause u get cocky and u dont feel ur even ill anymore at all,and if its not working,and ur in a bad mood,watch out ur feelings are IMMENSE and u will be ready to tear out walls.This is all just my own exper,so its just another tool for now as i hope one day to find something consisent.
