cymbalta vs. lexapro

Posted by jessers11581 on March 9, 2006, at 12:24:41

Does anyone particularly feel that one of these drugs is superior to the other? Lexapro was the last drug I tried before starting Cymbalta (for anxiety, mild depression, and obsessive-compulsiveness). I ended up stopping the Lexapro (10 mg.) because it made me feel nauseous and spacey for the first few weeks. Plus, I began seeing a new doctor who was really big into Cymbalta, and she wanted to see how I'd do on it. So far, the Cymbalta seems to have produced fewer side effects...but I only just recently upped my dose from 30 mg. to 60 mg. What are your thoughts?
