It took me 3-4 months of continued Lexapro use before it helped my mood, and my anxiety. But when it did, I was like,
"holy ... I just realized I haven't been craving my bed in the middle of the day for a week now!"
I used it along with Klonopin, 1mg 3x/day. I've been on it for... a year and a half. 30mg/day.
I used it for social anxiety disorder, which is pretty much dead now, anxiety in general, and depression.
Klonopin, at prn or whatever, is helpful... while you wait for it to kick in.
