Hey phillipa, did you know that luvox and valium have a moderate drug interaction. Apparently the luvox slows down the elimanition of valium from your body via the liver so it makes it more potent and last longer, maybe this could have something to do with it. My pdoc didn't know about it and lowered my valium intake when I was on that particular combo. When he looked into it further he actually wanted me to stop the valium altogether and switched me to rivotril(klonopin) until I came off the luvox once it pooped out. Apparently xanax has this problem in conjunction with luvox too. Luvox can be quite sedating. I'm sure you are aware of this already but I just thought I'd let you know. Also I found that Luvox was second to effexor xr with discotinuation syndrome for me anyway. All the best Paul
