Nervouse habits return after switching to Lex

Posted by Colleen D. on December 13, 2005, at 20:31:09

I've been on Lexapro one week.

I'm chewing my cuticles, chewing on the sides of my mouth (inside) and a few other things that have begun to become bothersome. I switched from Effexor. Could these just turn out to be start up side effects, or is Lex known for these effects in general? I thought it was primarily used for depression and GAD. And GAD is my biggest problem...hmmm. I never did these things while on Effexor!

TIA,
Colleen
