Inner ear problems? » nana

Quite common, causing vertigo, nausea, and other unpleasant findings. The yuckiness is due to the balancing mechanism located in the inner ear isn't functioning as it should. Viral and bacterial infections effecting the inner ear can cause this.

Are you still on Effexor? If so, I would think withdrawal symptoms would not be the cause. And, if you are still on it and have been for a year, it would seem unlikely to me Effexor would be the culprit.... but, I try to never say never either.
