Cymbalta - Best taken in AM or PM?

Posted by mike_pittsburgh on October 27, 2005, at 15:17:22

Hi,

i'm in my first week of taking cymbalta (30mg). i take it in the morning with breakfast. i'm also on klonpin 3 times a day. 1mg at bedtime, .5mg twice a day.

so far no major side effects from cymbalta. lots of interrupted sleep, loss of appetite, drowsiness. Inspite of the insomnia i find it extremetly hard to stay out of bed.

the drowsiness seems to last the entire day & evening. i knows it's early, but i'm thinking about taking it in the pm with dinner. (i don't eat in the late evening because it usually keeps me awake. therefore, i'm not sure if taking it at bedtine is a good idea, since the best to take the med is after a meal.)

any recommendations/experiences would be appreciated.

thanks

mike
