About 12 hours after I take amineptine (and only 25mg...very low dose) my stomach feels like it has a lit match inside it... just a sensation of burning and some dull pain. Almost exactly what happened to me on Prozac before I developed GI bleeding and ended up in the hospital.

I thought about taking a proton pump inhibitor but I'm not sure if that would help or not, because even Pepcid + antacid doesn't help much, if at all.

I guess I'm far too sensitive to medications. I could try amineptine at an even lower dosage but I'm afraid it might not work.

The good news is that it has increased my libido and I wake up in the morning refreshed and not groggy. :-) I feel less worry and an antidepressant effect.

I suppose for now I'll have to rely on Stablon (tianeptine) which I've taken for 7 months. It is good for depression and anxiety but doesn't boost motivation (not for me anyway) and doesn't help with the sex drive, although it doesn't hurt it either.

Maybe I'll try some of the other dopaminergic drugs since they are pro-sexual/pro-motivation.

I hope there is another alternative out there that is just as good as Survector, but minus the burning and pain in the stomach.
