dont know - my pdoc had no prob giving me klonopin AND xan today. (for massive anxiety as well)

generally speaking - i KNOW general care practioners and OBs, etc...do not like RXing xan b/c of lack of understanding the drug as well as its addictive properties. but then again - dont know any general pracs who are into klonopin either. think a pdoc would prob do both w.out pause if the anxiety symptoms were on target...it's not about stoppiong an addiciton from occuring - its abt stopping agoraphobia....a general prac would never understnad that.
