Definitely a bitter taste

Yup! The stuff can taste pretty bad. I take my XL with the pills split in half. If I don't swallow correctly and quick enough, my mouth gets a little taste of where I split the pill. Not something I would ever eat! ;-) Luckily, that doesn't happen very often.
