Adderall is not a combination of Ritalin and Dexedrine
Rather, I think it is combination of Dexedrine and L-amphetamine salts.
The fact that it contains some L-amphetamine probably makes it more Noradrenic than Dex.

I have taken Dex I've never taken Adderall, I think Adderall has more peripheral stimulating effects than Dex

I can't think of any reason of the top of my head why you couldn't combine them
