Paradoxical response to Dexedrine?

I have only taken 3.75 mg. of it so far but I feel a little bit of tension along with moderate sedation. Is this normal for lower dosages or for when you first start out on this? Did anyone else have this response? If so, did increasing the dosage lead to stimulation rather than sedation?
