my daughter has the same sleep disorder .I wonder what would be less risky for her . She is 16 and I am not assured that she can do what I do and not get dependent.I use halcion because my vocation requires I sleep and awake on demand .I do not have the luxery of knowing what hours I can sleep or when . This complicates a per existing sleep disorder I have hade for over fifty years. My daughter lives a normal life. Also I would be concerned about the disipline of making sure she is in bed when it hits .I have screwed up a few times and woke up face down on my computer .God forbid if I smoked and woke up dead .Like I said , I use halcion at the interment dosage I do because of extradodinary circumstances . I would never suggest it to anyone else unless they had a working knowledge of addiction medicine and work in the buisness as I do , for that matter .
