Hi Phillipa,
My p-doc put me on generic Xanax, and I find that it helps with the physical symptoms of anxiety, but doesn't really help with the emotional or worry side of anxiety. Is that normal? I'd like to not have the physical anxiety or constant worry. Is there a med is good for that, that won't cause weight gain or sexual side effects?
I only take .25 mg Xanax when I need it, and it just takes the edge off the physical side, so I don't feel like I'm getting addicted.
