hi...my experience with topamax was a horror show, show. I was told I could take up to seven pills or capsules aday. This was in 2001. one of the negative side effects of this stuff is that one can develop breathing problems. In my case, because I'm disabled by heart disease they thought it was a blockage. any way underwent angiogram and heart was pretty good. But i was diagnosed as having asthma. So I went to the asthma doctor who said my case was mild. He prescribed inhalers. Oh, man, did I trip on them. hyper ventilating or whatever, feeling such a rush and buzz that I'd almost fall out. Don't take too much...Ithink my then pdoc was a shill for the phamaceutical company who makes the stuff. As far as I know the FDA has not approved Topamax for any usage except for epilepsy. Look out for yourself. get a second or third opininion. good luck, cockeyed.
