my personal opinion is you just have to treat the symptoms and do the therapy. depending on "who is out" will depend on how your sleep meds work, for example. you have to be able to make deals and trade offs, and that's probably a post for the psychology board. did you post over there? but i've found ambien works one night and not at all the next, or restoril, or klonopin, or xanax. but what works the best is to be aware enough to know what you are dealing with and "who" you are dealing with. your therapist can help you with that. because certain parts respond better to different meds. but meds can work.
