That is paradoxical reaction to the benzodiazepine -- What is your dose? Any other meds?

This doesn't mean that all benzodiazepines will induce unintended reactions like Xanax, but Xanax and the triaz. BZDs are the most likely to cause odd reactions. Those occasional side-effects aside, Xanax is likely the most addictive; physiologically and/or psychologically. I really have no idea by doctors continue to prescribe it...

I would recommend no benzodiazepines based on personal experiece, but if you insist I would aim for Klonopin or Valium.
