I hope it helps :-) I don't like it personally, it gives me mild akathisia! Promethazine is a potent antihistamine.....and also a weak dopamine antagonist - hence the akathisia. Promethazine has a longer duration of action than diphenhydramine, it lasts toooo long for my liking.
