Hello- I took a low dose of Abilify (3-4mg)/day plus Adderall XR 30 mg/day for several months. I did feel as though the stimulant did not work quite as well, so my doctor upped the dose. However, now that I have stopped Abilify I still find I need more Adderall, so I'm not really sure how much the Abilify affected the Adderall. My doctor did say that the Abilify could negate some of the effects of Adderall, but probably not much with a low dose of the antipsychotic.
